LAMP Daily Announcements
Parents are NOT to use the Day Care Private Parking lot across the street by the school; for parking OR turning around.
Safety is of utmost importance in the Student Parking Lot. Please be sure to only drive 5 mph or less at all times in the parking lot. Always drive cautiously and defensively - no fast turns in parking spaces, no donuts, etc. Do not loiter in the parking lot or use it as a socializing area. Thank you for keeping LAMP safe!!

On August 31, 2010, a letter will be sent to all parents letting them know how they will need to come to the school and fill out a form to get the information needed in order to access their child's records from home with a Personal Identification Number (PIN).
Showing Our Other Side (SOOS) will hold auditions on Tues., Aug. 31, Wed., Sept. 1 and Thurs., Sept. 3 in Dr. Summers' Room (Rm. 3)
Attention all Students: Junior Civitan will be having an interest meeting Monday, Aug. 30 @ 2:30pm in Ms. Blackman's Room (29)
The first Spanish Honor Society meeting will be Tuesday, August. 31st @ 7:00am in Sra. Eiff's Room (35) . All current and prospective members must attend. If you have received 3 semester A's in High School Spanish, you are probably eligible to join and should. Therefore, attend this meeting. If you only need one more semester A for eligibility, you are also encouraged to attend.
There will be a LAMP Computer Club meeting on Thursday, September 2 @ 3:15pm in Mr. Black's Room (12).
There will be an Air Force Information Technology Conference Education Day event Wednesday, September 1. Only 50 students can attend (first come first served) See Mr. Black in Room 12 if you are interested in going.

Attention Speakers and Debaters: the LAMP Speech and Debate Team will hold its first meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, August 24, 2010 to kick off the year. We will meet in Room 10 after school. the meeting will last about 30 minutes. Don't miss this chance to speak your mind.
There will be a Science Olympiad interest meeting this Thursday, Aug. 26. after school until 3:00pm in Mr. Hann's Room. (19)

Ongoing announcements and achievements:

Parents: the office cannot interrupt a classroom to give messages to the students, except in the case of an emergency. We can make brief announcements in the morning and at the end of the day, if possible. Please try to make arrangements with your child before school. Items that are brought to school by the parents will be kept in the office and the student will need to stop by the office between periods to pick them up, usually the office will not have time to notify the student or interrupt the classroom to relay the message. Thank you for your help with this matter. Classroom time is important, let us all respect that.
